The governor of Champasak Province was the guest of honor at the opening of the first 7-eleven store in Pakse District.

On April 30, 2024, the governor of Champasak province, Dr. Vilayvong Bouddakham, presided over the official opening ceremony of the first 7-eleven store in Pakse District, Champasak Province. The ceremony was attended by honored guests, executive management from various provincial agencies, as well as representatives of the Thai government led by Miss Morakot Sriswasdi, Ambassador of Thailand to the Lao PDR, and the Executive Committee of CP All Laos Co., Ltd. under CP All Group led by Mr. Thatree Jirabanjongjit, Managing Director, who welcomed and participated in the ribbon cutting.

7-Eleven Sanamxay is not only the first branch in Champasak Province but also the first branch out of city in Lao PDR. The store has been open for trial service for about one month and has received good feedback by local residents and tourists visiting Pakse district. This shows the potential of the area to become an economic center in the south of Lao PDR, especially in tourism, which is in line with the policy to promote tourism in Visit Laos Year 2024.
